Joint syntactic and semantic dependencies (Spanish)

The CoNLL-2009 shared task combined dependency parsing and the task of identifying and labeling semantic arguments of verbs (and other parts of speech whenever available). Participants had to choose from two tasks: joint task (syntactic dependency parsing and semantic role labeling), or  semantic role labeling only.  The dependency parsing task consists in determining how words relate to each other syntactically in a dependency parsing framework. Systems have to find the dependeny relations within a sentence (finding heads and their dependents) and they have to label the relations with syntactic functions.
